Mission Statement of the Delaware County Historical Society: To acquire, preserve and make available documentation of Delaware County history; to provide and support educational programs on the history of Delaware County; and to publish materials relevant to this history.

Brief Description of the Delaware County Historical Society: Founded in 1895, DCHS is the oldest historical society in Delaware County. It currently owns two properties: Greenbank Farm in Media and the old Bank Building in Chester. Greenbank Farm is a historic site as well as home to the DCHS administrative and Passport to History offices. The old Bank Building is the new home for the DCHS Research Library.
