Passport to History Program: Program Description

Passport to History is an interactive, educational program developed for fourth or fifth grades, when Pennsylvania history is introduced into the curriculum in most school districts. Students receive a passport designed to resemble an actual US passport. Stamps are received when students visit historical sites and for other historical experiences, such as a World War II veteran visiting their classroom. Students that successfully accumulate 5 or more stamps in their Passport to History passports by late September of the next school year receive a framed award certificate and a unique lapel pin from representatives of the Delaware County Historical Society at a special ceremony at their schools.
